Local Investors (Individual)

Any individual who is a Bangladeshi national above the age of 18 or any Bangladeshi Institutions qualify as a Local Investor (Individual).
- 2 Copies Passport Size Photograph of applicant, attested by Introducer
- One Copy Photograph of each Nominee attested by the applicant
- National ID/ Passport copy
- A competent equity market research unit
- Bank statement/ Bank certificate

NRB (Non Resident Bangladeshi) Investors

All Bangladeshi nationals (Bangladeshi passport holders) who are working/living abroad can open Non Resident Investors Taka Account (NITA). Foreign passport holders who are originally from Bangladesh are also eligible to open a NITA account with any custodian bank.

According to the rules, individuals having the minimum net worth of Tk 1 crore are the qualified investors along with the other qualified investors for IPO subscription of SMEs.
